Life Storage

Anderson Ashton overcame a number of challenges, including a failing roof structure, water damaged wood floors and broken underground sewer pipes, to repurpose this nearly century-old downtown building. The result – a beautiful and functional multi-level self-storage facility that serves a fast-growing residential rental market.

Extra Space Storage

Housed in the what was once the main warehouse and distribution hub for an iconic Milwaukee beer maker, Extra Space Storage is an ingenious adaptive reuse that consumes an entire city block. Utilizing the lower level of the original two-story warehouse and working within existing height levels, Extra Space added a mezzanine level to the 90,000-square-foot footprint resulting in an additional 45,000 square feet of storage units. The mezzanine also features the city's first temperature-controlled, drive-thru self-storage space.
